We are located on the west side of the Mystic River, just past buoy 18 and south of all bridges. We are in the heart of Noank Village, offering great restaurants and an old fashioned New England charm. We are a 5 minute drive to downtown Mystic and a short boat ride from some of New England’s best boating destinations.
Our slips hold vessels up to 60 ft, with transient dock space up to 130 ft. and moorings that can fit a 7’ draft. We can haul boats up to 16.5’ wide and 35 tons.

NVB is owned by the Helbig Family. Founded in 1972 by Bob and Nancy Helbig, NVB has been built from the ground up. Over 50 years later, the third generation of the Helbig family is now working here, as we continue to elevate our standards.

We offer service in all marine trades, including mechanical, electrical, rigging, paint, fiberglass, and general marina services. When specialty work comes up, we partner with the region’s top specialists to ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
Yes, we are authorized dealers for Mercury, Yamaha, and Yanmar, with factory-trained technicians. All of our certified service uses genuine parts and factory-specified practices.
Yes, our team has decades of experience managing large refits, with all of our trades working together to complete extensive projects.
Yes, NVB offers repowers on outboard and inboard boats, specializing in Yamaha and Mercury repowers.

No, we are a full-service marina and our team manages and performs all service work. There may be exceptions which must be communicated with our service manager. Our sister marina, Mystic Shipyard East does offer more DIY options, but certain services must be approved by management for safety reasons.

Yes, both of our docks are floating with full-fingers available. Our docks are wide, giving you easy access and comfortability.
Our moorings can hold boats with drafts up to 7 ft.
Our slips come with water and complimentary Wi-Fi. 30/50/100A 120/240 V shore power is also available.
We do not offer indoor storage, however our sister marina, Mystic Shipyard, does. Many of our customers store indoors there and our technicians can provide service all winter long.
