The partnership between Mystic Shipyard and Noank Village Boatyard began in 1998, when Bob Helbig, owner of NVB, bought MSY with several other partners. In 2022, Bob and his children acquired MSY in its entirety, allowing the Helbigs to provide a premium, full-service boating experience to a greater number of boaters on the Mystic River and beyond.
